Positive Adventures
Camp Overview
This camp is for young adventurers to experience a variety of outdoor activities that help build important skills. Campers develop confidence and tackle new challenges while learning to work together and support their friends.
Activities include snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking and community service. Camp activities are tailored to each child based on age and experience level. Under the guidance of experienced guides and outdoor educators, campers learn the skills necessary for each experience in a fun and supportive environment.
Transportation from LJCDS is provided. Bus departs LJCDS at 7:45 a.m. and returns at 3 p.m.
Adventures
Monday: Paradise Point – Snorkeling, Marine Science and Community Service
Tuesday: Mission Beach – Surfing and Sandsculpture Competition
Wednesday: Paradise Point – Kayaking and Stand-Up Paddleboarding
Thursday: Mira Mesa – Indoor Rock Climbing Adventures
Friday: Torrey Pines – Hiking and Adventure Scavenger Hunt, Ice Cream Party

Led by Positive Adventures. An LJCDS chaperone will attend each day.
